We offer a range of professional groups and catch-up meetings for staff of our member organisations.

Members’ Meetings

Scheduled three times a year.

With expert speakers on a range of topics directly relevant to your work.

Recent speakers at our events have included:
senior representatives from the Department for Education, NHS England, Rook Irwin Sweeney LLP, Stone King LLP, the British Association of SocialWorkers, Anthony Collins LLP, and the Care Quality Commission.

Held in London or the Midlands.

Open to CEOs and an additional senior member oftheir staff, plus access to selected recordings of the events’ presentations/speakers.

Policy Group

This group helps members be more informed about Government policy relevant to autism at a UK level across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and identifies opportunities to join up policy influencing and share policy ideas across the different parts of the UK.

Communication & Campaigns Group

This group connects communications and external affairs leads from across the membership, working together to scope national-level Autism Alliance campaigns, and co-ordinating communications around key public opportunities such as Autism Acceptance Week. It also provides professional support on issues raised by members.

Practice Forum

This group allows practice leads from across the membership to reflect together on practice in supporting autistic people and their families, share approaches and insight, and work together to identify ways in which the Alliance can support practice development.

HR Group

This group brings together HR professionals from across the membership to share approaches, innovation and learning that can strengthen HR practice, reflecting the specific challenges and opportunities faced by not for profit organisations in our field.

Topic Calls

These are online meetings where we invite a guest speaker to talk to staff of our member organisations about a subject of interest.

Partnership Board

The Partnership Board includes a majority of CEOs drawn our member organisations. They are responsible for the governance of the Alliance and meet throughout the year.
